Child Protection.

Picture
If you find one of these organizations unsatisfactory, or think another should be listed, please let us know.

Child protection includes access to high-quality early education, nutrition, and medical care; maternal access to prenatal care; protection for children and parents from stresses of poverty, racism, and violence of all kinds. Coordination of resources and action is needed. Resources for all of these issues are found elsewhere in this guide – particularly in Domestic Violence, Income Inequality, Racism, and Women’s Rights.

Boys and Girls Clubs of America -- To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) -- The National CASA/GAL Association, together with state and local member programs, supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every child who has experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, have a permanent home, and the opportunity to thrive.

Gen2Gen -- Gen2Gen is Encore.org’s campaign to mobilize 1 million adults 50+ to stand up for, and with, young people today. By bringing the generations together, we’re working to realize the potential of longer lives, the potential of every child, and the power of older and younger generations working side by side for change.

Generations United -- The mission of Generations United is to improve the lives of children, youth, and older people through intergenerational collaboration, public policies, and programs for the enduring benefit of all.

Prevent Child Abuse America -- At Prevent Child Abuse America, we are dedicated to promoting services that improve child well-being in all 50 states and developing programs that help to prevent all types of abuse and neglect.
