If you find one of these organizations unsatisfactory, or think another should be listed, please let us know.

Inequality – We aim to provide information and insights for readers ranging from educators and journalists to activists and policy makers. Our focus throughout: What can we do to narrow the staggering economic inequality that so afflicts us in almost every aspect of our lives?

Fight for $15  -- The Fight for $15 began in 2012 when two hundred fast-food workers walked off the job to demand $15/hr and union rights in New York City. Today, we’re a global movement in over 300 cities on six continents fighting for a  $15 minimum wage.

Homeless Shelter Directory -- The Homeless Shelter Directory was created for people who need shelter and for those who want to find local shelters who need volunteers and donations of  food and/or supplies.

Movement Voters Project -- We work to strengthen progressive power at all levels of government by helping donors and activists support the best and most promising community-based organizations in key states, with a focus on youth and communities of color.

National Coalition for the Homeless – We are a national network of people committed to a single mission: To end and prevent homelessness while ensuring the immediate needs of those experiencing homelessness are met and their civil rights are respected and protected.

National Committee on Pay Equity – We’re a coalition of women's and civil rights organizations and allies working to eliminate sex- and race-based wage discrimination and to achieve pay equity.

One Fair Wage – Fighting for legislation in cities and states across the country requiring the restaurant industry to pay all its employees at least the full minimum wage.
